Match Report Press Report

Weald IV (formerly Weald V) Lost to Nutley I in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 1 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 88 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Nick Hardstone, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 138 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Edd Salter.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Nick Hardstone, who over-turned a 88 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
