Match Report Press Report

Littlehampton I Lost to Horsham III in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 1 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 108 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Phil Stacey.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Ahmet Ahmet, who over-turned a 147 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Home No. 2 player, Ashley Squires, had not had to withdraw after 3 game(s) the result could have been closer.
